Abstract
One of the ways the Information Services Office (ISO) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) supports and enhances the research activities of the NIST community is by assessing the impact of NIST research. This presentation describes how ISO librarians use bibliometrics to assess the impact of NIST research publications and collaborations. Librarians, who act as liaisons to their respective NIST labs, will share methodologies and best practices for assessing NISTs impact, as well as demonstrate how ISO uses bibliometrics to assess and increase its own impact.Pub Type
